Summary: Great location, beautiful, comfortable and well appointed room. The bar is small but good service. The problem that we encountered was upon checking in (an hour and a half after their posted check-in time) we were informed that - without any apology- our room was not ready and could not offer an estimate for how long it would be before it was. The young man at the front desk was inexperienced and not equipped to handle the situation. Many others were put in to the same predicament and the hotel did nothing to attempt to compensate for the severe inconvenience. We had to attend our event without the opportunity to freshen up, shower or change clothes then had to interrupt our evening following the event to actually get checked in. The hotel is actually really nice, but the service was just plain poor. Very unfortunate. I left a review on the hotel website with the same information shared here in hopes of some sort of response to address the situation but they have not.
